SOCAL Wildfire Season again...

..and time for me to wheel out my little Cessna 150 Aerobat again to view the scene around Santa Clarita in the Los Angeles Valley.
A few miles northwards from Whiteman Airfield (KWHP) will take me amongst the San Gabriel Mountains.
Aqua Dulce (the scene for the Steven Spielberg Film; "Duel"), Lake Hughes and Castic Lake will be hectic with aircraft collecting water for the water drops on the fires, in an attempt to quench them.
Every year I pick up the local news regarding Wild Fires, etc, in California, and that triggers me to load up my trusty FS 2004 to explore the scenery in great detail, together with my "Ultimate Terrain USA", etc, News Channels, Wikipedia, Charts, and Google Satellite maps!
Another reason to use my Flight Sim for practical purposes (Exploration)!
(I like being "Practical" now and again!)...
