Sitting here bored on a Sunday afternoon, thinking about nothing, which is actually thinking about something.

Nothing cannot be seen or measured.. so nothing doesn't exist.
It's impossible to have nothing, or to do nothing, or to say nothing, as the act of saying nothing sends a message louder than than saying everything.

I found that filling the glass with California red wine, displaced all of the air so that "nothing" didn't exist any more...

...and I feel so much happier... ....HIC!....

Indeed...one of those impossible subjects

If you truly had a void with nothing, the void would be among things that are something so the void itself is something...a void of nothing.

Bit like the universe...where is it...it can't be endless so it must be in something and if it truly is, there what is that something in and so it goes on and on, ad infinitum.

This I pondered long ago and realized, in the Modern English language** and in math, nothing has to be something.
An "=" equals "exists as" -- thus "nothing = nothing" or "nothing exists as nothing" means that nothing must be something, making "nothing does not = something" unviable because you should then have something akin to " does not = something"... (which also contradicts itself with the "you should have something akin to...).

So, the next time I think I have nothing to do, I should be glad I have something to do...
