Simviation Forums

As a Moderator on another (non-Flight Sim ) Forum, I mostly avoid interfering with genuine Members, but I do keep a constant watch-out for brain-dead, arse-wipe Spammers, and zap them accordingly.

(A special "joining" procedure mostly prevents them from entering, and Spamming).

At the moment, we seem to be getting infected by them daily, and filling up, and spoiling, our Forums and Threads with their annoying dross!

Moderators!...Pop in now and again regularly, and inject them with the special, Simviation, Instant-Death Virus!

We do have the standard anti spam measures -- (email verification + they have to copy some letters into a txt box)

So these are by an individual ----

--- yesterday the forums email was fixed so I think a lot of accounts probably became active.

So hopefully this is just the wave of those that got through and will not last ....
