I THINK that I remember drug parties where something like that may have happened.

But I'll tell you who is the driving force behind this type of thing - LAWYERS.

It's that old thing about following the money - WHO stands to make money from this?

Paternity suits will cost a fortune.

If you can't decide which one of these is the best answer, ask a five year old.
According to the claims, it must be "C" -- when Chuck Norris drops his pants!!

I often wonder seeing people pray at the wailing wall, that they don't bump their heads against it. Which brings to mind the story of the Rabbi, the Vicar and the Chaplain met at a lakeside beach out of town. They decide to take a dip, naked in the chilly water. As they emerged, a group of women from the village walked by giggling like girls. At which the men of God grapped their garb and covered over. Afterwards, the Chaplain asked the Rabbi, why it was that as the 2 Christians had covered over their private parts, the Rabbi had covered his head? Wherupon the Rabbi replied " I don't know about you 2, but in my congregation, it's my face they see.

The Emperor's New Clothes
"The Emperor's New Clothes" is a short tale by Hans Christian Andersen about two weavers who promise an Emperor a new suit of clothes that is invisible to those who are unfit for their positions, stupid, or incompetent.

Apple's New MacBook: The Ultimate Portable With Caveats
Apple's latest MacBook, with its 12-inch Retina display and new USB-C port, has drawn praise for its ultra-thin design and typical aesthetic finesse...

Lets check out these "aesthetic finesse" features.

Twelve inch screen: . Netbook - "Over the course of their evolution, netbooks have ranged in size from below 5" screen diagonal to 12"."

It weighs less than two pounds: . Netbook - "A typical weight is 1 kg (2.2 pounds)"

Keyboard: . Does anyone remember how much ridicule was heaped on Chiclet keyboards?

Well.....

At least it does have "rounded corners". :D

Apple finally gets its patent on a rectangle with rounded corners

Patent infringements?

I guess that I must be one of those who is "unfit for their positions, stupid, or incompetent", because I see the Emperor's new clothes a little bit differently.

Must be just me.

Here's one for the stupid file:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/cycling/32284180

It's difficult to know who's the most stupid, the race organisers for not anticipating such an eventuality or the riders.....complete and utter recklessness though.

"It wasn't possible for the leading riders to stop sufficiently safely," said Guy Dobbelaere, president of the jury of race commissioners.

After watching the video of the situation I'd say this Guy Dobbelaere is full of B.S. There was more than sufficient time for them to stop, especially the last rider who bypassed the Police Officer who had his hand out stopping the other riders. Stupidity is just one facet of this guy's mental incapacity.

...groan

Cyclists on the road in London certainly get bad press in the UK. I was up there sightseeing with the grand kids last friday. I watched them during rush hour, they must be bloody mad. Most are good cyclists (mad non the less) who observe the rules....but....a large number are a rule unto themselves. The most common fatal error is undertaking (on the left in the UK) trucks or buses in heavy traffic at crossroads when the truck or bus is turning left, they're in the blind spot and they get squashed under a wheel......Poor truck driver's got to live with it and someone has to scrape them up into a bucket.

As a two-wheeler, (with an engine), I always give pedal-cyclists a very wide berth as I overtake them.

They are allowed to "wobble" as they pedal, especially in windy conditions, and they are always in a vulnerable position on the road!

I admire their bravery in the traffic!.... :o ...!

If you had to drive for a living in a major city you'd hate bicyclists!

They:
run red lights
they run stop signs
they cut in and out of moving traffic
they cut in and out of stopped traffic
they dodge pedestrians in the crosswalk
they dodge pedestrians on the sidewalk

The list goes on.

And if you impede their cutting in and out, the mother F...ers SHOUT
HAY. WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO USE OF THE ROAD TOO!

When I become King of the Universe, the only right that I'll give them will be the shark pond or the piranha pond.

PS - This is for city bicyclists.

For the Record...

Paris Roubaix has had incidents like this for years. Invariably, in the chase to catch the front runners, many have crossed the tracks when the gates were down in order to gain advantage over the others; classic case of risk vs. reward, as long as you don't get caught by the Race Commissars!

A win in Paris-Roubaix is akin to winning the Open Championship, The Champion's Cup, or the Super Bowl; for the most part, the Winner's meal ticket is paid in full for his entire career, and beyond.

Forget the Giro, The Tour, and the Vuelta... P-R is THE Cycling Race of the Year!
