This time spent waiting, must be harder on the crew than any other part of the mission! I mean, my heart is pounding out of my chest while I'm waiting for an Ebay auction to end, I can't imagine being strapped inside a missile like that for an hour, then being told you only got nine more minutes. Too much suspense!


My heart is pounding so hard right now, that I am nervous enough for the whole crew.

Looks like they're gonna go, just removed the cap on top. (NO idea what it's called).

Dang! That sucker is really up there already. Already in space.

Said like 53m out, 3200mph.

Also said it was using 1/2 a ton of fuel per second!! Bad gas mileage I suppose.

This is my first time watching a live shuttle
and when that thing took off my heart was pounding

That was great  :D
