Exactly Ozzy. Remember the 2001 (US) elections? They gave a false report stating that Bush was in the lead for the election. The public then believed that, and thus, he was accepted as president.

Such volumous criticism about the 2000 election is presented by those who either are uninformed about the 12th amendment to the us constitution, or merely choose to ignore the us constitution in order to claim Al Gore won the election.

While I agree that Miss Hilton is somewhat lightheaded and needs to get a bit more down to earth ( read: deserves her jailtime big-time!), I keep on wondering how so many people whish her death all of the sudden...

Well lets see how about Mr. Murdoch firing employees who don't exactly follow his right wing biases? Also some impressively inaccurate reporting and blatant prejudice. This is why I always read the BBC News website to try and get a more objective view. It isn't perfect but it is pretty good. Mind you you can't beat CNNs World News when once I bothered timing the hour of it (I was bored silly) and of that time 23 mins were just adverts and every world news story was about America. Hello? The rest of the world is still out here I tend not to trust TV journalism due to its urge to "Be first with the news" means some very shoddy reporting and obvious prejudices... this is why I love reading (although until I get a wireless access laptop I can't enjoy reading the news on the loo!)

And what is that based on?  All I know is when I was watching Fox and Friends, they did a poll and learned the Fox and Friends staff and hosts here pretty much evenly split on support for Bus and support for Kerry in the last election.  Also, a few Fox hosts and commentators off the top of my head who made it known are liberal are:

Geraldo Rivera
Greta Van Susterin
Tony Snow
Juan Williams
Alan Combs
Elenor Clift
Susan Estrich
Geraldene Ferraro
Liz Weihl

There are about the same number who have made it know they are conservative.  The rest, I don't know.  So, where did you get your facts from?

Rightly or wrongly I look upon Fox News in the same light as the Sun newspaper. The only thing you can believe is the date & they have been known to get that wrong. It's a sobering thought that a wealthy news tycoon like Rupert Murdoch is far more powerful than most elected politicians of any party.
