With two weeks to go your already almost upto your total for last year. I'd say its been a good season for you:)
To get all the numbers 100% correct I will do a full season total after week 17 to make sure its all correct.:)

Well, that was a little rougher a week than I would have liked but thats OK.

A little NFL news, the Pro Bowl Roster has been released for this season.

NFC Pro Bowl Roster

AFC Pro Bowl Roster

I am very happy to see that Carolina QB Jake Delhomme has been selected to his first Pro Bowl!  :)

I want to know how the hell Tom Brady beat out Jake Plummer to the 3rd spot on the AFC roster. Not being a Denver homer this time, but Jake has had a season thats been much better than Brady's. The only reason New England are even going to the playoffs is because of the crap division they play in. While there is no question Palmer and Manning should be 1 and 2, Jake's season should put him in as the third QB. LT being in at running back and John Lynch at safety also prooves what a joke the voting for this can be, I am a Lynch fan, but he hasn't had a huge season compaired to others. And as for Ladanian, he's had at least 5 poor games, including 7 yards on 17 attempts @ philly a poor run defense, 57 against denver and 67 against an awful buffalo rushing defence. Add in the 9 total games he's rushed for less than 100 yards I'd hardly call that a pro-bowl performance. Cant argue with the NFC line-up, the fact that Eli Manning isn't on there despite being a hot favourate shows at least they have some sense.:)

Well, the Pro Bowl has always been a popularity contest-it isn't neccessarily determined by skill or performance.

I feel that Carson Palmer and Peyton Manning deffinately deserve the bid (I think Palmer should be the starter but Manning probably is).  As for the third spot, well-Plummer simply isn't as popular as Brady.

On top of that, you can't argue that Brady has had a bad year.  He is actually higher rated than Plummer (Brady having a 93.3 rating while Plummer has a 91.3).  Tom Brady is putting up the best numbers of his career.  Facts are that their numbers are about even, but probably favoring Brady slightly.  Although the Broncos have had a better season, Brady and New England win the popularity contest.  So, I don't want to say that Brady doesn't deserve the Pro Bowl-because he does.  Does Jake Plummer deserve it more?  I honestly don't know.  Odds are, it was probably a close vote.  Another person that was probably very close was Drew Brees who again put up an amazing season, he currently has a 91.6 passer rating.  So, in my opinion, it is hard to pick 3 QBs from the AFC.

For LT, I'm not that suprised, again he is very popular.  Other than that, the only thing on paper that I see that puts him above Rudi Johnson is his 17 rushing TDs.  Their numbers are almost equil in every way except for that.  Johnson's team did better, but LT is much more popular and has better numbers.  I really don't see anyone else who deserves the Pro Bowl spot over LT except maybe Rudi Johnson.  But, thats just my opinion.

But in reality, and yes I do know its a popularity contest really, if you look at the numbers only it doesn't tell a person much. But If I or anyone else would have said that Plummer would have only had 6 interceptions coming into the final two weeks of the season, before week 1, they would have laughed in my face. He now has the fewest interceptions of any season long starting QB in the NFL. I'd say he's having the season of his life. If it wernt for the fact he's taken the Broncos to two playoff's in a row he would be a prime candidate for comeback player of the year. Tom Brady has had his pro-bowls, he's had the superbowls. I feel that the one thing standing between Manning, Palmer and Plummer for MVP this year is the superbowl. I believe its decided after the superbowl? And I think whichever of those 3 wins it will be named MVP. If its none of them winning the SB then I think Palmer deserves the MVP.

I certainly cant argue that he deserves it most.
But lets face it, again its also a popularity contest and Manning tends to win those all to often. Might end up in a simmilar situation as a couple of years ago, with Manning and Mcnair sharing the title.
