Couldn't agree with you more. After all, December 25th is not "Holiday" it's "Christmas Day". Unfortunately atheists, politicians coming up for re-election, and attention starved zealots are bent on getting their cheap misery lovin arses in on the kill.

Don't blame atheists as in my experience they are usually more tolerant than most & probably enjoy it as much as anyone.

It might have been better if I'd remained silent but I couldn't resist commenting on your previous reply. My big mouth will be the cause of my downfall one of these days.

To the best of my knowledge I don't actually know any atheists although this would never crop up during normal conversation. Many that claim to be so are not atheists at all but agnostics or some other form of unbeliever. I have no reason to suppose that they are any more miserable than anyone else & I imagine that many can & do enjoy Christmas without hiding it. I know I do.
