Outagamie County Regional (KATW)

We have a 8,000FT runway and a 6,000FT runway. We have many regional carriers such as Air Wisconsin, Mesaba, and Comair. Also many Gulstreams as they have a hanger here where they do finishing work on molsty G4s. One FBO that has a very nice flight school, is Maxair.

C29 just under the airspace of Dane County Regional/Truax Field(KMSN) where the 128th Air National Guard F-16s are based.  C29 small but they offer Morey's West Coast Adventure where you fly out to the west coast to get your IFR rating in a week.  I was planning on doing it sometime, bit too pricey right now though. :P

Check it out if you want...

A little airstrip I like to call KORD...  ;)

Amen. I live (actually we live) under the 14R flightpath of KORD.

but O'Hare isn't my acutal base.
home bases are
>KPWK (Palwaukee Mun Airport)
>06C (Schaumburg Regl airport)

and my home heliports are
>4H1 (Schaumburg Mun Helistop.)
>76IS (Steel Supply Heliport(right across the street))

i'm working on 4H1 & 76IS in AFCAD as we speak. i'll post them on SimV when I figure out the scenery exclude thingy.

i still got pictures of it all in the photos page

My home airport is Tipton (KFME) it is home to the flying club at the govt. employees are in. It is near Fort Meade/NSA. The runways are 10 and 28. 10 is a right traffic and 28 is a left traffic. Because of the close proximity (a cut in the class B airspace) of the class B airspace we can only fly teh patter two ways. We have to file a flight plan before you can go anywhere. The ADIZ is becoming a real pain for GA traffic. I guess because it is near BWI and DCA we need it.

There's a small program available called Exclusion Builder that makes exclusion areas for FS as simple as pie.

I have several airfields near me, but im not sure if planes can use any (except 2 of them) They are:

RAF Stanmore Park (I live on it, a former barrage balloon base now a housing estate)
RAF Bently Priory (just across the main road and through the common)
RAF Glenthorne (i dont know anything about this place, dont even know where to get in but i saw it on a map of my area)
RAF Northolt (just a bus ride away)
Elstree Aerodrome (another bus ride and a 30 min walk away. where i hope to take flying lessons)

As far as I'm away, only Helis have ever been to BP and SP. As for Glenthorne - never heard of it...

Nice to see Northolt and Elstree have avoided the property developers...

Saturday I am taking Mat to his grandmother's for Spring Break, but Sunday is pretty much open.  Friday I am working all day, so that's out...

my home airport is KACY (atlantic city international). It was built as a military field in the 40's. It isn't really in atlantic city, it's in Pomona. The 177 njang is based out there, so I get F-16's flying over my house at 4am >:(

Hearing about Elstree Aerodrome, I couldn't resist putting this on - 're-enactment' of my first flight, a couple of circuits in a Dragon Rapide (tenth birthday present!).

My local airfield is located a few miles from me...>>>

Herefordshire, England.

An old war-time airfield from which wooden gliders full of troops were towed to France and Germany during WW2...
I remember watching them taking off...a one-way trip...!

I visit there regularly and enjoy the occasional flight in my favourite Cessna 152, G-BHAC...weather permitting... 8)...!

Paul... 8)...!
Win 8.1 64-bit. DX11. Advent Tower. Intel i7-3770 3.9 GHz 8-core. 8 GB System RAM. AMD Radeon HD 7700 1GB RAM. DVD ROM. 2 Terra Byte SATA Hard Drive. Philips 17" LCD Monitor. Saitek Cyborg X Fly-5 Joystick. ...and a Briggs and Stratton Petrol Lawn Mower.
