Gas station employees need to hire fulltime price sign changers as much as the damn prices yo-yo in this country. Its freaking NUTS!

This seems to be normal everywhere. Our prices seem to bounce up and down all the day. You can pay 0,06

I've been paying around $2.00 (USD) a gallon lately. That would be playing hell with my wallet if I didn't own a very fuel efficient car, Google "Honda Insight" and you'll see what I mean 8).

Yep very annoying, the government taxes it highly, however the average car here does about 35MPG (42MPG american gallons) combined, that is due to the extreme refinement of the engines you get in european cars.  Although the smaller cars do well over 40MPG (48MPG american gallons), and diesels around 60MPG (72MPG american gallons)

Hi-D,

Probably also due to the fact that the engine does not have to be designed to haul around the 6000 pounds of metal and plastic that is the American "urban warrior" SUV .....which so typically is used to go 20 miles over plowed, paved, flat roads to drop kids off at soccer practice ;) :P.

By the way....... just saw a documentary on the history of jets in commercial and military aviation on the History channel.
