I know I have been bitching about the loss of my posts and stars, but that was because I had a pride in trying to truely contribute to a forun I have come to love, and they served as a reminder of just how many friends I'd made and how often I had tried to be helpful, but now it seems, for some members, the acquisition of posts and stars has become nothing more than a race to see who can get the most the quickest.

hey Fido, Dont worry about it mate:)
people respect you for your help and the time you have put in, so your loss in posts, although very annoying for you i'm sure, isnt a huge deal, you havent lost that sense of respect, those who are rushing to get more posts, seem to think it'll mean they get something ele or some sort of respect, when really it doesnt and it'll only tick people off more.
i have now been here over a year, and i keep thinking my 3995 posts or what ever it is, is alot, but really its only about 10 a day..

Agamer - Its not a race to get to 100000000000000 posts :o. Ive been looking at the forums for about 2 years and have only made 179 posts (still seems an awfull lot). I try to make posts when I think I can help the most (although I don't know much about most things) or add an interesting point.
