I must admit, Adam, that although I occasionally point my Fender Statocaster in the direction of the audience...
..I haven't shot anyone with it... ;)...!
Sometimes I hum dangerously to myself whilst playing it...
I cannot speak for you... but there are some who can use musical intruments to wound and impair -- leastwise, make themselves seem quite wounded...

Also, I think about the most dangerous creature, other than human, on your big mound in the sea is a boar, should they even remain; I felt quite uneasy when stalked by the bear (the cougars only gave me a glance -- while they were where I could see them, anyway... have no idea what their attention was were they watching in hiding).

... ;D... ;D...!

Fortunately, we don't have dangerous Boars, Bears or Cougars on our little rock in the North Sea... :-*...
...but we do have dangerous, gun-toting; "visitors", from "other countries", in our big Cities, who are out to shoot us, and themselves!...(mostly themselves!)... :o...!

Paul...Armed with my new Ukulele...on my way to the local Shopping Mall, to terrify the shoppers with my strumming!...... ;D... ;D...!

Now, this is a trusted weapon

Never ever will you or your children be assaulted 8-)

I love Rotties. Unfortunately, they have one trait, they seem to copy more than any other dog the personalitly of the owner. If you are an a$$hole, then the dog will be too. If you are a "normal" owner then the dog will be very affectionate. Well that is my experience of them...............

Matt

PS that is a beautiful looking dog 8-)

You're so right. One thing more, they never forget anything in their short life! Using that in a positive way, makes a Rottweiler a real compagnion for any family ;)

I observe the big grin on its face, and the slaver dripping from its mouth, as it longs to take a bite out of my left leg at the first opportunity...

...(it's what they automatically do to me, given the chance!)

Paul...Dog Food... :(...!

You know what, Paul...
If you mean you're "dog food", it may be because the dog can smell your fear!! (or some of your gravy's) ;D ;D

All of this about the topic and the season just reminded me of a particular gift I gave some friends, a recently married couple (at the time) for Christmas. It wasn't meant seriously, wasn't taken seriously (we all laughed), and no one was injured...
I gave them a candleholder with a tapered candle and, atop the candle, wrapped in its wick, was a .22 bullet (I owned a .22 long barrel, bolt-action Remington at the time but it wouldn't fit in the wick, anyway); my card to them read: "You can use the candle to light up your life. Place the bullet in your teeth and you can shoot off your mouth."
