Thanks Chris! That helped me out a bit. Ive told my mom im not sure about the ROTC yet because im not to positive that ill be able to fly for the military because my eyes are already bad and I dont want to be in ROTC if I cant fly. Ill be attending the Daytona Beach campus in March. I decided to put that as my first campus because of there golf team. Ive been to a flight school at my local airport and talked to an instructor who attended Prescott Embry Riddle a little while ago and he helped me out and told me if I apply to come straight back to him, which is what ill do. If he went to Prescott and I go to Daytona Beach will I still get the 1k though? Not alot of $$$ but better than nothing!  ;D

yeah, it doesnt matter what campus he went to, Im at Prescott and had it signed by a Daytona grad.  I know its not a lot, but it sure beats having to make it yourself.  Both campuses do a very good job with the training.  I do not know currently how strict the military is on eyesight for flying, but general aviation only requires correctable to 20/20.  So thats easy enough.  And as for ROTC, the nice thing is that either way you go, there are a ton of ROTC at ERAU, so you are far from alone in having those responsibilities, and if you don't do it, well then you get to sleep in, haha

I will say this, before starting flight training it pays to get a first class medical.  That way you will find out if you have any disqualifying medical issues early, before investing thousands in flight training.  That was something our school recommended to all new students.
