Student: Accountancy & Finance @ Aberdeen University.
Yep, I have enjoyed the course so far, but tiring of all the exams. The holidays are great and the sporting activities are brilliant. I wouldn't get that opportunity anywhere else.

Professional potter and adjunct professor of ceramics at New Hampshire Institute of Art.

Studied ceramics in college in the late 60's.  Touched clay and knew that was what I was born to do.

Sales/support engineer in the field of wastewater.

I help in the construction of treatmentplants for industrial and municipal wastewater, beeing engineer, salesman, foreman, technician or operator, depending on the moment. As the company is small, we have to do it all...

The one day I'll be in a suit talking to engineering agencies or customers, the other day I'll be covered in oil or less appetising sludges...  ;D

Oh, did I say I specialise in breweries?  ;D

I'm a paramedic. Do I like it? It's the most rewarding job out there. How's the Pay? It's the least rewarding job out there. I'm finishing out my 3 years on the ground ambulance and working on a nursing degree. Once my 3 years are up I can get on the local helicopter as a flight medic and switch to flight nurse when I'm done in school. Flight Medic vs. Flight Nurse, only difference is about $40,000/year

but half of today's aircraft wouldn't be flying without computer science... the eurofighter for one.

This arguement again....have it with my mech friends all the time.  Yes aero's need computer science and all those other engineers to work, but without an aero to design a plane theres no NEED for computers to run it meaning you are out a job  :P

and you fail at your job when the aircraft can't actually fly without the computing input! seems like you need us... oh and their are many many more ways computer science can be applied to everyday life than aero's can so i guess we win :P ;)

what you do for a living

Lawyer, mostly retired.  Try to guess where I went to school.

do you enjoy it

Yes and no.  It's stimulating but a lot of the professionalism has gone out of the the profession.

and what made you decide to pursue it?

I was an English major and thought it would pay better than being a teacher.  Seriously.  I took the LSAT on a bet and did well enough to get into law school.

Currently I am a Theater Tech. basically I run the sound and lights for the show.

I love the job as I work at a theater that does Melodrama and usually turns out pretty funny.  The only thing I don't like is when we change shows. For those that don't know Its called Tech Week or Strike (no idea why) and basically we work a 60 hour week building things for the next show and the rest of the time getting yelled at by the Stage manager for some odd reason  ;D  Other then that its a great job for a Student, not minimum wage, and late hours so it doesn't conflict with school.  :D

Then in the future after I finish this year in High school I'm going to Arizona State University to get my degree in Air Traffic Management. So I'm pretty excited about that  8-)

I do not work for a living right now, but I have my dream.

My ultimate goal is the revival of the SST. It all lies in if the sonic boom problems can be solved.... :D

My current spare time is spent learning languages, particularly WINDOWS.CRASH and LATINA.

SENATVS POPVLVSQVE ROMANVS 8-)
