So... what's the answer then to the original question?
What happens to a cow that doesn't get milked? I'm curious... ::)

I thought that was only as seen over a longer period of time. I think cows need to be milked, otherwise they could get infections... Now the question is if I'm right.  :D

Very true, although this does also occur in cows that are being regually milked.

To fully answer the question.

If cows are not milked, then the milk will come out anyway! (Our heardsman got locked in the pub one evening and I drove down to the dairy to find milk everywhere, no jokes

My County of Herefordshire is famous for its White-faced Hereford cattle, (which you will spot in many American "Cowboy" films)... 8-)...!
And which you would have seen on our farm -- our steer were Herefords. Kind of glad there's an ocean betwixt us, Paul?

Actually, a cow will give milk as long as she keeps getting milked; if not, she stops. I'd best stop there since that one sentence is undoubtedly enough for some of you to envision a diversity of obscene thought.

Please explain to us your ease at milking chickens! :-?
