I see carolina being the team to beat seattle. Chicago will suffer the same fate, as ny. Lacking in play-off experience. That defence is really good yes but I think the way Carolina has been tearing up the defenses they have faced lately, they will win. That sucks about Palmer though, They haven't said how bad it was from what I have heard so hopefully he'll be ok. What a way to go out, first playoff game and its over on the first pass.

Damn just heard on Palmer. Torn ACL. He's done for the playoffs, and will be lucky to be back for training camp. That really sucks.
Try getting your name down for tickets. Couldn't hurt. If not the Panthers, you can sell on Ebay or go for the atmosphere.

I wouldn't be so sure about that, Denver is quite good dispite the lack of attention they get.  Plus, its about time for New England's run to come to an end.  I really don't think these Patriots are as good as they were the last few years.  They are a good team, but I would be suprised if they beat the Broncos in Denver.

A good point.

It just seems to me that the Pats are more composed and have a much better QB... :P

I was at the game when NE was in Denver; it was a lot of fun to watch...!

Have faith, while cinnci would have been a better option, this is a Denver team better than any of the other years they have been in the playoffs recently. They got rid of that habit of letting teams stay in games, and have beaten a Chargers team who beat Indy and New England. (twice) beaten the Patriots already and it wasn't as close as the score line suggests. And as you probably know better than the rest of us from being there, Mile high is one of the toughest if not the toughest place to play this season. Even better those same unheard of Broncos get to be the ones to shut everyone up about the pats.

I hate to say it, but I am not ENTIRELY sure that it was an accident. :(

To be fair the guy who did it, is apparently one of the nicest guys on the Steelers team. He was going for the tackle while he had the ball. But then again this is the playoffs so nothing would surprise me.

Yeah, it really is a shame to see that happen and watch the Bengals go down in the first round without a fair shot-hopefully they'll be able to come back next year (so the Eagles can beat them in the Superbowl ;D ;D)

I didn't see the hit on Palmer though, so I can't really comment on if it was dirty or not.

I was kind of thinking the same thing early on, but when I saw the replay-after he hit the lineman appeared concerned about Palmer (maybe it was an act, in the old days some players got a bonus every now and then for hurting a key player in a key game).  Apparently, he has had his share of knee injuries during this career.
