Fozzer, in all his glory...
Just slightly more ragged at the edges, (wrinkly), now that I am 80!
Still got my full head of black hair tho!
I'm having some problems of late, much diabetically related but I haven't had a full head of black (or, dark brown) hair for most of my life. In fact, I first started with grey (Br. sp.) hair in the temple area when I was 17, which worked its way down to forming a "V" on my chest; once I got out of the Air Force, I began combing the dark hair on my head over the grey which is becomimg more difficult to do -- the grey is now working its way well back as well as an ever increasing thinning up top. The strange thing, though, is that I no longer have a grey "V" on my chest -- dark hair has grown in where the right-hand side of it was.
I'd say I'm not normal -- but I expect you already thought that.8)
Some 15+ years ago I was diagnosed with extremely high blood pressure 232/121!....

Too much fat, sugar, salt...(and dangerous amounts of cheap Bulmer's Cider!), in my daily diet!
An accelerated visit to my Doctor, quickly checked me out and put me on a diet of assorted tablets to lower and control my blood pressure. A daily check with my little wrist device now reveals it is approximately 120/70...with a heart rate of 60BPM....

Cutting out all the "nasty" things in my diet, has also enabled my to retain a healthy weight for my height, (5-7"), at 154LBS and a Body Mass Index of 124.
I still cook for myself four substantial meals per day, but this time they are full of things which are; "Good For Me"....

During a Doctor's visit I mentioned a slight problem with the Water Works some ten years ago...(a bit on the slow side)....and he diagnosed an "enlarged Prostate Gland"...(no worries, we older Blokes often suffer from it), and put me on some tablets to relieve the pressure...no problems now..I can still write my name in the snow...

...also an "Under-active Thyroid Gland" (in the neck), which is to be expected, 'cos I've always been a lazy sod!...More tablets..
The only thing I suffer from now is; "Acute Laziness", (ie: resting), which results in poor muscle strength and stamina, which means the Garden Lawn only gets mown once per Month..(sometimes)...and numerous visits to various chairs in quick succession for a; "Sit Down"...or a "Snooze"....

Otherwise I am in excellent health, and pass my annual health check with the Practice Nurse, (her with the white smock, black tights, and big boobies), with flying colours...

I put most of this down to a totally stress-free life, with little or no contact with other folks each day...(other Folks can be extremely annoying, and can generate stress..trust me...)....

So there you go....a happy 80-year-old Motorcyclist, with a full head of black hair...carving my name with pride in the snow!.....

Paul.....
