Forbes Magazine:

Microsoft founder Bill Gates retreats to his private mountain bunker and wipes out all his support systems to install Linux for error free and reliable operation of his complex in case he manages to survive.

Don't count on it. Have something for a gift so people don't get mad at you. You never know. Aren't there various other prophets that predict the world ending on that day too?

8-)

Chuck norris hasn't died yet, so we still have at least another 75 years to go!  :-/

When the end of the world comes, Chuck Norris will beat it into submission. ;D

[quote]I love these stories... of how many people have predicted and even tried to "calculate" the end of the world... and when the day arrived the world was still there and they tried to recalculate... LOL it's great!

the Mayan civilization ended in I think the 15th or 16th century, so why would they have a need for a calendar that stretched out over 1000 years into the future? they had better use of time during those days..

so.... today do we have a calendar that stretches into the 31st or 32nd century? that's a rhetorical question
