My wife says the same thing...
I told my mom about this and she even said, "Son, only you could think of something like this." But she was chuckling just like my wife and her mother were.
I call my mother-in-law up and keep her informed about her daughters misbehavior and she just laughs and says, "You children aren't right." She told me I need to paddle my wifes butt once. I told her the one time I tried, her daughter farted and I thought I was going to pull back a stump after the blast.....sheesh.
