PS: I hope this post does not violate the forum rules. I know the rules very well. I just wanted to let everyone know.

I should think everyone in the world already knows unless they live on a different planet. All I can say is thank goodness that's over. ::)

H summed it up very nicely in another thread,
I .... went into a booth to vote for the ones I didn't want versus those I wanted less;

As an outsider this appears to be an excellent progression, and one that I wasn't entirely sure could happen this time around.

Now we just have to wait and see how with 4 years in the job, what Obama can do as the most powerful man in the world.

On a lighter note, Chums...;)...

I am just overwhelmingly glad that we are now very unlikely to have/suffer Sarah Palin as the 45th President of the United States of America.....

....by default!.. :o...!

Now there's a scary thought!... ;D... ;D.... ;D....!

Don't be to sure of that Fozzer. I've seen predictions on the television, she might be the new wind in the Republican party. And in 4 years, this starts all over again... who knows...

I've just read the entire endspeach of John McCain... I think it's very nice to see the respect towards his opponent and the call for unity in his country...

Amazing to see this event captured the attention of the entire globe...

Perhaps, but when elections happen in my country, nobody seems to be interested, while I've heared discussions on the views of the 2 American candidates for months now, here in Belgium...  ;)
