You've obviously never been properly introduced to an enema......

Now at least in the US military of the 70's, the fleet enema was a cure all for everything.
Gunshot wound- give em an enema
Shrapnel - give em an enema
hang nail - give em an enema
I swear that the US Government had stock in the company....lmao.....

Really? I've never heard of Military doctors prescribing an enema. Interesting.
I always got the 'Dring more water, change your socks, and walk it off' response.....

The UK armed forces, it was always a soluble Aspirin and come back in three days if you don't feel any better..................No word of a lie, that was the treatment I got for a slipped disk and sent back to work. My squadron commander had "words" with the Doc and I ended up two weeks flat on my back in hospital shortly afterwards

"A bit of a pickle" - British translation: A catastrophically bad situation with potentially fatal consequences.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
