...and Trophies to take home with you...(Testicles, fingers, etc, etc....)... :)...!

When I read that I actually felt a pain... down there... :-X

Anyway, I have a cheap chinese electric scooter. I guess you could call it a moped because it has pedals that plug in, but I don't use them. I made some foot pegs to plug in in place of them because I can't seem to hold my balance with my feet in front of me like I'm riding a toilet. ::) It can only do about 15mph and I just use it to run up to the mailbox or ride around on our small 10 acres if I need to go out there. If I didn't live on top of a giant hill, I would probably use it to go to the store and such.

Hello John...!

I've got a very nice Art Titanium Race system, fitted to my bike.
Straight-through Race system, (a bit naughty for the road), and it sounds fantastic on my Twin...

...a lovely throbbing growl on my Honda CB 500RR Twin, rather than the high pitched scream of my old Honda CBR 600/915 4-cylinder bikes...;)...!

Motorists and pedestrians certainly know when I am around, and keep out of my way, saving all our lives..;)...!

Paul...Honda...Meep-meep... 8-)...!

...I rather like Twins!... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]...!

You know what is even worse about scooters? that they have a limited speed, wich you can easily out drive as a biker by a few KM/H, unfortunately it involves driving behind the scooter before being able to overtake it, and that means your driving in a smog cloud. I 'd rather be stuck behind a diesel bus dan behind a scooter.

Riders of 2-stroke Motorcycles and Scooters should always be located on the other-side of the World...;)...!

Paul...Personally, I'm all "four" stroking!...  ::)....;)... :-*...!

.... ;D...!

...over here...many 2-strokes (even some 4-strokes) no longer pass the regulations for exhaust emissions!

....I'm just worrying (a little bit) about "Noise"pollution/regulations... ::)...Tee-Hee...!

P.S. Comm...I wonder if Lucy is still around....with fond memories of School Days?... ;)... ;)... ;)...!

If you lot really want to see the value of a scooter, check out "  Mordeth13  " on LiveVideo and see how things can be justified in the right situation...........

Not that a scoot is in my future.......I run to the top of Mt Washington on my trusty old 1981 CB650.........just like this past Tuesday !

Hello Ken, my old Chum... ;)...!

I know, I know.... ::)...!

I still dream about that Californian ride down Highway 1, from Seattle to Los Angeles, following the Pacific Coast.... ::)...!

...(and maybe, Highway 101 down Silicon Valley).... ::)...!

...and I note that "Route 66" is no more...From Chicago to Los Angeles... :'(...!

I imagine that most of California Highways are now multi-lane, traffic nightmares!... :o...!

I recently purchased various versions of  "18 Wheels of Steel - Across America" etc, and having loads of fun, (with my steering wheel and pedals), driving my "Peterbilt", etc, Trucks across America...bleedin' Fantastic..!!
Great Falls, Chicago, and Vancouver, is the most Northern I get...
...and Mexico, to the South... :)...!

Loads of fun, and a good Geography lesson, to boot...!

Paul....Bike it?.....I like it!.... [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]...!

That pic is from this past Tuesday (May 6 08)....on Mt Washington, our local ski hill.......we usually have very reasonable snow levels here, amounting this year to a total of 4.3 m.....melting pretty fast now. Road to the top is open and sand free these days, since they closed out the ski season a couple of weeks ago, although when I was there on Tuesday I could hear some ski-doos running in the deeper stuff, up near the summit of the mountain.

The link you provided is for the American Mt Washington in the Presidential range of the White Mountains on the east coast, out in New Hampshire. I've been to the top of that one too ! ....but I did it in summer...... ;)

No smog from my electric scooter. ;)

Some day when I have a normal job and don't have to drive 60+ miles to and from school every day I would like to get one that can do at least 40mph so I can keep up with traffic. One of these perhaps -http://www.x-tremescooters.com/electric_mopeds/electric_mopeds.html
