LOL!  Those ridiculous warnings are there to protect manufactures from idiots who blatantly misuse their products in idiotic ways and get in trouble, then seek out ambulance chaser lawyers who feed on the idiots who do idiotic things and seek out courtrooms full of idiots in a jury trial who agree to award the original idiot a cash jackpot for their idiotic behaviors!

It's just like that "may contain traces of peanuts" line on a Snickers bar.  ::)

That one I'm OK with... someone might be trying a Snickers for the first time, not knowing it's- duh- known for having peanuts... and also not knowing that they have a serious food allergy.
That's not really a stupid mistake, like whacking yourself in the eye with a hammer or letting your baby play in a bucket full of water...

So after a bit of research I have got the answer to my question. I checked the Gerber website and it would appear that I have a couple of things on the tool that are explosive related, though Gerber seem to choose not to inform you what all the parts of the tool do in the instructions. I guess you are born knowing. Apparently the pliers have a bit on them for crimping blasting caps and the long spike is for poking a whole in C4 so you can insert a detonator. The mulittool is military orientated. This now brings up the question, who decided it was necessary to tell a soldier that he should be careful with explosives. What is next, each time a troop draws his rifle from the armoury, he will find a small label attached to it informing him that if he points it at the enemy, then the enemy might very well get hurt  or get very dead::) Sometimes there are things that are a given.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Speaking of explosives, if you mix rust and Aluminium is it true that it makes Thermite? If so I gotta try it! :P
