He was depressive and he joined a chatroom which was all about insulting other people just to give him the final push.

+1 Bjorn, I think the guy joined an 'insult' chatroom just to push himself over the edge - can't blame the other users for the so called 'egging on', the chatroom was all about insulting each other - thats exactly what they were doing. I doubt anybody actually thought he'd do it.

He had 12 year-old twins. How do you think they feel about it?

Bad, I guess.

Plenty of people have suffered far worse & never contemplated suicide.

Well, it's a choice after all. Either you do it or you don't.

How long will it take for that video to show up on YouTube????? :-/

The police issued something about that, asking all people who were in that chatroom to keep the video but not distribute it. They are using the webhosters to track down people who were in the chat room and contacting them as witnesses. First, i've heard of this kind of evidence gathering. They may also need the video people had.

They better not post it on youtube or they will be fined big.

I don't mean to make light of this or be crass about it, but when I read "He was logged on with around 50 other users to a special "insult" chatroom where people "have a go at each other", I couldn't help but think "Monty Python-Argument Clinic." I'm so ashamed. :-[
