That site is made up just to wind people up. I have to admire the author's labour there in which he has gone into terrific detail in what gives the impression of quite a detailed analysis of a study in something we all know is there. ;)

Without wanting to appear stupid by taking him seriously I would say that civilisations have been worshippping the moon in ages. It, along with the sun and stars, are probably the most documented objects in the early world. The Bible was written thousands of years ago and a text he picks up to cast doubt on whether the moon translated is actually the actual thing we call the moon is crazy. The word moon is mentioned loads of times all through the Bible and if moon isn't moon in these verse what is it?

Joseph's dream
Genesis 37:9
Then he dreamed another dream and told it to his brothers and said, "Behold, I have dreamed another dream. Behold, the sun, the moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to me.

Well this text shows how the Jews were warned of worshipping the objects in the sky!
Deuteronomy 4:19
And beware lest you raise your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, you be drawn away and bow down to them and serve them, things that the LORD your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.

Here's a different one.

The best part of this one is the photographic evidence.  This type of thing fascinates me.

I only got as far the first few sentences before I fell off my chair laughing...

They are wonderful to read on a rainy Sunday afternoon, with a nice cool glass of beer held lovingly in the hand, and a big smile on the face... ;D...!

Love it... ;)...!

Well it appears that the moon isn't made of cheese, it is made of meat and controlled by Mel Gibson......
