Charlies plan:

1) Leave them alone
2) Wait for them to accidentally blow themselves up in a missile test going wrong... :)

i hardly see the politics in this, all i see is opinions on current events in the world.

then again my experience about politics compares to a dog knowing nuclear physics ;)

speaking of mud slinging, anyone up for a choco-mud pie?

I think we ought to lob a dud on him, land it close and send the message that we can cut his wacko hair anytime we want! Short of that, I suggest a flock of B-2s dropping an s-load of Daisy Cutters...

I think I hear a keychain rattling...

As with most events I think these events have been hugely hyped up by the media..

I have heard someone say something quite interesting but I think that's too political so I shall not adress the issue in public

Yes! Cause that won't start world war three or anything!

Besides, B2's can't carry Daisy Cutters. :P

I think doing nothing would send a stronger message.  Everybody knows it's a pretty trivial technological challenge for the US to land a nuclear warhead anywhere in the world in under half an hour, no need to prove anything or remind anyone of that fact.

I just heard on the news that the missle tested was headed for the waters off Hawaii.  Strange target IMO as I don't think the US would be flustered very much by such an act.  Still, it would be cool to field some THAAD sites on Keck and shoot down the next one that comes our way...

Or totally embarrasing when they failed to hit it. :P

Yeah, that could be embarrasing, but at least it would be a cheap way to test the system (not having to pay for the target missle and all).  Still, the Korean Missle failed its test as well, and all it had to do was hit the ocean.  The ocean is a much bigger target than an incoming Korean missile.  :)

I do enjoy seeing Kim Jong Il on the news in the evening.  He looks like a characture of a despot leader.  Every time I see him I expect to catch a glimps of the puppet strings or something.  My initial reaction to seeing him is always "this guy's pretty funny, he looks just like that Korean guy..."
