As opposed to the whale in parliment who answers to the call of Prescot? ;D

Except of course it is a mammal....... and belongs to the family of the largest mammals on Earth and it is considerably more interesting than Mr. Prescott (and probably lighter)

Lighter than Prescot! ON the news they said these whales weigh 3 tons....imagine what Mr Prescot must wiegh :o ;D

Did you see the tourists and that on the bank? Got more than they bargained for.
I think they were having a whale of a time.

*groan* Jokes like that are the reason we keep you tucked away up in Scotland Ben :P ;D ;D

Cheers,

The whales are actually up to 7 tonnes, not sure what that says for Prescot.

Here he is. ;D there is more hope of the real whale being a PM than of this chap, (not that he wants to be). ::)

Bit sad...
The whale has died on a barge somewhere between Tilbury docks & Southend-on-sea.
So no Free Willy "Hollywood" ending then.
As for Sky News, it's almost as morose as when Princess Diana died.....   ???

I just read this on our local news website--it's pretty interesting. Shame it died :( I heard a similar story of a beluga whale swimming up the Delaware and Schukill rivers in Philadelphia last spring. But I think it survived?
