LOL I have no doubt Denver can get it done. And yup I feel sorry for any playoff team who is ignored like that, especially Carolina. I found one comment funny, made by Tom Brady, he said "The media and fans of the game are giving us no respect, they dont talk about us". I am sorry but outside of Indy for the past 6 weeks I have heard nothing but how dangerous the Pats will be and how they are the most likely to go to the superbowl if Indy doesn't Blah blah blah. I have lost alot of respect for Brady as a person this year. He has acted like a spoiled baby when NE lost, prime example Denver, he walked off the field after the game without shaking a single denver players hand or even a congratulations. these comments and as such all year. I really hope Jacksonville who are team no-one at all is talking about beat them this week. That is a very dangerous team.

Pre-game comments by commentators: "St. Louis hasn't lost at home"  "Best show on turf..." "Amazing offense will flatten Carolina's defense..."  "Next week's St. Louis/Philadelphia game will be a great one"
They were the greatest show on turf till Martz destroyed the team. Vermeil did incredible things to that team. Hell of a running game, a very dangerous passing game when used correctly. What does Martz do? almost completely drop the running game and turn it into a pass heavy offense. so much for the best show on turf.

New England and Washington through. Tampa really should have won that game. And if New England play as they did against either Indy or Denver next week, we will have a new superbowl champion that isnt them.:)

Because there is so much more to the game than stopping and starting. If you really want to get into it then it can be so indepth that even the biggest fan would see something new every game.

But don't you ever get a little bored when it's stopped a few times than usual?

Not really, apart from the Time outs each team gets to take 3 in a half each. Most stations have other things to show in those breaks. Highlights from other games, or indepth analysis of the game. So your not just watching a bunch of guys standing around for a couple of minutes.  As for lining up for the plays and waiting for the snap I find it fun to read the defense and see what they plan to do, and watch after if I was right.

only for about 10 to 15 seconds at a time, and the action is very intense when they are actually playing. I personally find it more fast paced than soccer in which final scores of 1-0 are not uncommon.

you should have seen Burton albion against Manchester UTD. Two teams many leagues apart, and it was the most exciting 0-0 game you'll ever see:) Soccer is not a game you watch if you find the scoreline the most exciting thing to do with a sport. Its for showcasing players natural ability with footwork, ball control and speed.

You'd have to be pretty hardcore ADD to get bored during the stops.

Football is the most in-depth, strategical, athletic and team-oriented game there is out there-plus, there's guys getting the crap knocked out of them.  How could one go wrong? ;D

(btw I can totally defend my position and pwn anyone who wants to disagree :P ;D)

The Panthers sured looked inpressive again today, if they keep playing like this they will be unstoppable!   ;D

I wasn't impressed with Burres either.  What really impressed me was how Carolina took Tiki Barber out of the game and forced the young and inexperienced QB (Manning) to have to win the game-which he couldn't do.

I wonder if they will do the same thing to the ever less experienced Rex Grossman next week?    ;D

I figure that Carolina should be able to shut down the Chicago offense next week.  As long as their offense doesn't struggle against the Chicago defense as bad as they did in Week 11 (when the played amazingly horrible) they should win.
