Oh and I just found out tonight that I'm going to the Giants game on Saturday. My dad scored tickets 'cause one of his co workers had season tickets, but couldn't make it this week. So he sent out an email at work and my dad was the first one to reply. Three tickets about 25 rows back I think. Dunno the yard line.

I suggested he sell the photos to the chiefs offensive and defensive co-ordinators during the game so they could work on their plays. I have seen those print-outs they get and they are crappy.

Could be a while. I have to get them developed as it's not a digital SLR (gasp!)

No hurry, but I would like to see them.  I understand scanner problems, my old one died reciently and I had to buy a new one (my monitor died too-it was a bad month).

Yeah, I will. But because I don't know the depth of how far I'll be from the field, I dunno if digital zoom will be a factor.

dont ever use digital zoom for photos. 3x optical zoom should be enough from most parts of a stadium. unless you want upclose shots of Eli's pimples.

What is the point of digital zoom?  I have never used it because all it seems to do is blow up a part of the image and you lose a ton of quality.  Why do they even have it or is there a use for it?
