Of course! It's a lot more fun to be angery at something than it is to understand it. :-/ ::)

I like your thinking. :)

You brits...you'd kick the arse of anyone who'd insult your royals, yet you like to bash them even more that we do! ;D

Kinda like us Michiganders and our Pistons, Tigers, and Lions (especially the Lions!) ;D

Good point & a national trait. We're allowed to criticise them as much as we like but if anyone else does so they get their arses kicked. :D

I'm no royalist but I respect our Queen & her grandson Prince William. He seems a decent young man who I'm sure will make a very good King if he ever gets the chance. What I really object to is the tabloid press constantly criticising our armed forces & the amount of taxpayers money they waste on their jaunts. As anyone with any sense should realise, they have to train constantly in order to be ready to protect us in time of trouble, whatever & wherever that might be. They might just as well put this to some practical use & this training mission would cost no more whether it carried a prince as passenger or another member of the forces. If the destination hadn't been RAF Lyneham it would have been to another RAF station. RAF aircraft do this sort of thing every day of the week on a regular basis. It's quite possible it's part of his own training as a member of the armed forces. One day he will be the head of the armed forces & I would prefer him to have some knowledge of what they have to do.

Looking at another source, and from my own experience, it's quite ironic that some of the most frequent passenger flights are taken by journalists...
