Statistics don't mean anything when you don't know the proper context...

let's say:

Studies have shown that there is a 10% increase in Flu cases. Stuff like that would make people really nervous.

But.....

What if the number of people increased with 20% ?

If they had a very cold year ?

You always need to know the context...

Last year in Financial management the following amazed me..

In Accounting you had two ways of calculating profits,sales,costs and those kinda things.

Eventually

With exactly the same numbers in both sums, one lead to a higher profits. Both calculations were perfectly executed and both were true. But with one of them you had a higher profit.
