In Denmark the maximum for military pilots -1, +1. For general avation I think it's -3, +3, or is that for comercial pilots?

By the way, that's WITH glasses or lenses, not lasic eye surgery though.

I'd have thought so. I'm sure Theis you could get a PPL in a private thingy? You just need several spare thousand Euros. ;)

No, not yet anyway. I am a student pilot and my solo is coming soon. I'm still brushing up on my landings, but the weather usually keeps me ground for 2 weeks at a time, so I don't get to practice as often as I should ::). I did get to fly this weekend, and even with a sporadic crosswind I managed a near perfect landing. My instructor even complimented me on it. 8)

Getting close to my checkride, according to my flight instructor.

I usually trust her, but on this, I don't feel competent enough just yet ;)

There should be more options in the poll such as:

* I want to get it

* I'm a student pilot

* Almost done with training

Just an idea ;)

Jake, the actual definition of a "pilot" in the aviation world is one who has completed their first solo, not their PPL.
