I've known about Simviation for years, since my FS2000 days when I had awful 56k.  :o

(I think it was Simv where I got addons from, I can't remember much lol)

I only joined the forums this year though, as you can see. :)

SimV was the first I have ever heard about in my entire life. I found out about it over the Zone when I kept seeing some cessnas and 744s doing wierd things.

I stumbled on it one day when fs2002 had just come out by following random FS links.  I saw some wise A$$ comment by Ozzy...... and knew I'd found a home  ;D

When I bought my first computer, the first program I bought was MS Works.  The second was FS98.  After I got FS installed and got hooked up to the internet, I found out you could add on planes, so I did a search and SimV was the first site I found.  I've never found a need to go anywhere else, though I do download occasionally from Avsim and No-Nodes...

I think It was shortly after I bought FS98 (A few months after it's release) that our family got internet access for the first time, and I went to the Microsoft's flight simulator website and saw a link to Simviation in the communities. I started downloading, and I think it was in 2000 that I signed up on the forums. I didn't post a lot, but I was on the forums from time to time ;)

Geez. I think three or four years ago (God, I'm old), my friend and I were on the bus going to school. We were discussing my new purchase of FS8 and he told me about adding planes and all that jazz. He gave me this site and Surclaro. I don't like Surclaro. Too slow. But anyway. I was here on referral.

Then 2 and a half years ago I finally decided to see what the forums were about. Muahaha. :)
