It's been my understanding that Japanese restaurants have had canned air available in different 'fragrances' for years. Many of our tourist establishments have also had little wooden souvenir "boxes of [local] air" (since these aren't effectively sealed... ).

I've always been curious just how they can a fart? Sounds like someone had something shoved where the sun don't shine.

Unbelievably, there was someone prone to gastritis who was sent to the hospital because he'd shoved an 'air freshener' (like what's hung from a vehicle mirror) up his anus so "they wouldn't smell so bad" !
