I think one of my best was taking a B-17 on a 14 hour flight from San Francisco to Honolulu. Using only a compass(Not once did I even look at the built in map or even thought about using a gps), I somehow managed not to miss the small islands and landed with less then 30 min worth of fuel 8)

First time I landed a heavy with maximum realism! Still sweet when you touch down and don't go trough the tarmac or slide over the field!  ;D

Some people will still burst into giggles when thinking of me and the concept landing...  ::)  ;D

That reminds me of a really good one. For a while I was trying to master the Robinson helicopter. My plan was- starting from the deck of a carrier- take off, move forward clear of the edge, drop 20 feet or so, turn around 180* and fly into the opening for the elevator. Well, after about an hour of trying, I finally did it! SURPRIZE!! the inside deck is not landable! So I turned crashes off and did it again. I watched the replay and I could see that I didn't hit anything. I did it perfectly! I couldn't fly a heli to save my life now, but for a day, I was the master. 8)

Completing the Dambusters expansion pack for CFS2 on 100% realism, in real time, i.e. no warping and obviously, flying all the way there @ LOW altitude in the dark.

After trying for years, I still more often than not, hit the drink before I even see the coast!

How I respect the crews of 617 squadron.

If I ever manage to complete this task, and I've been trying for years!, it would indeed by my Greatest FS Experience.

Practice makes perfect I suppose...

What you read is that I set the brakes in hopes it would do something and left it on......in the air file, there is no braking affect ............it has no brakes !  :-[

wasn't MSFS, but landing an Su-33 on the Kuznetzov at night in a storm has to be the best  8)
