This has been brought to Pete's attention and he was contacting the person directly as of today.

Sorry for all this.

If anybody else receives this annoying spam, please let us know.

I nor any other USA3000 staff member or administrator sent this E-Mail.

on behalf of USA3000 Virtual Airlines I would like to apologize for the e-mail(s) some of you may have recieved. I am the advertiseing agent for USA3000 VA but spamming is not the route to go. Spamming is just as annoying as unwanted pop up's. Regretfuly I suspect that this act was made by one of my USA3000 Pilot's.

What was the return e-mail address? If the e-mail address was "ceo@usa3000.us"(which belong's to the president of USA3000) then I am affraid that the name "@usa3000.us" has been spoofed. As pete made it so painfully clear on this SimV page http://www.simviation.com/security.html, there is nothing I can do to find out who did this & regretfully there is nothing I can do to prevent this from happening again:(

This is most offensive to me because this person used My name, which degrades my integrity as well as the integrity of USA3000 VA.

I would like to ask that everyone who received this e-mail to not hold us at USA3000.us responsible for this act of internet fraud & please do not release any bad publicity as a result of this.

Thank You

Thanks, I have informed Pat Madden(CEO) about this issue but like I said before, it is absoulutly imposible to catch the person or prevent him from doing this again.

I remember back in the day when the internet was a safe place to come & play.

I just don't get what people get out of all this illegal internet activity. Like what is the purpose of designing a virus, no good can come of it.

Just pure fun, from the looks of it. It appears that such people just enjoy annoying others or find joy in bringing harm to computers. :-/

No worries. Thankfully it was nothing nasty - one guy came here a few months back and smothered the site in porn.... :-/

I remember that just as clearly as Basic Training. For those of you who came too late to see it, it's good that you missed it. We have a lot of young people on this forum for crying oout loud.
