And it's also Pack vs. Eagles in Philly...this year we WILL win! ;D

You mean after we beat you by 40 something points last year, in that game where we beat you by like 40 points during the week where we beat you by 40 points?

Just trying to clear up exactly which game you were talking about.

Careful Beef. Favre is going to be back to his top form this year, he's gotten into shape which he wasn't last year, and his head is clear of personal problems. Green Bay are going to be a very dangerous team this year. Its still going to be a pretty easy year for philly to make it to the playoffs though, in general it doesnt look like the NFC has gotten any better.
Of course, The Eagles might not be at full strength by then, if Champ Bailey beating TO, to every pass doesn't cripple him emotionally, i'm sure a shot or two from John Lynch will do him in physically ;D :-X

And playing as RB4 with a GIANT chip (more like a chunk) on his shoulder... ::)

Assessment: Not a threat.

It's more the sense that he's really not into it than anything else-I really don't think he wants to be playing right now, so he's definitely not going to be the old Ricky.

I am still not sure if he'll even start a single game this season, since he still has the 4 match ban and the Dolphins have some good prospects at that position as it is. He's only there to avoid having to pay back the money which he cant afford. If he shows a good attitude this year earning the minimum, he'll likely be traded next year for little to nothing except for the payment of his old contract.

Even if he doesnt play, he still knows the ins and outs of the game, very good help for Miami's young running back, a dumb idea of them was to trade Surtain though, but Chicago is even weaker than Miami, their offense hardly got upgraded this season, and thats a rookie ::) ;)
cheers

Trust me, Chicago will be more of a threat that Miami. First and foremost because they have signed Mushin muhammad. This guy is partly the reason the Panthers were so good (sorry Richie) and i have a feeling if Grossman doesnt go blind and he see's Muhammad there are going to be alot of good things happening.

Teams to watch for this year. New York Giants, as much as i dislike anything called Manning, i think Eli and Shockey are going to be a good combo this year.
Kansas City: This is a nothing to loose year for them, even their coach has said the teams getting old, Gonzales could have a good year, and Trent Green is dangerous still. Their Defence is still pretty awful but the offense can match any team on any day.
And Arizona. I dont know why but they are looking very strong through training camp, if that carries through to the season i could see them in the playoffs.

He is an excellent player, I was very sad to see him leave Carolina-but the next best place is Chicago.  I think he will really help Chicago.

As far as Carolina, dispite the fact that he was only 1 of 2 players remaining from the excellent 1996 Panther's team, his loss is tollerable.  He had an amazing season last year but is getting old and he's not Carolina's #1 WR anyway.  Steve Smith is the Panthers best WR-he just missed all of last season.  So, although its a big loss, I think Carolina will be fine (plus, Chicago is my next favorite team-was my favorite until Carolina came around-when I was little a relative of mine played for Chicago and I have loved them since I was little).

Dont get me wrong, i didnt mean Carolina would drop because of it. I see them being the number 2 team in the NFC behind the Eagles this year.

I think they'll be back and I bet they can beat the Eagles.  I remember when they were at full strength in 2003 and they played at Philadelphia in the NFC Championship-they really hammered the Eagles.  The score wasn't that high on either side, but Carolina won convincingly and hit McNabb so hard he didn't play in the Pro Bowl.  Don't get me wrong, the Eagles are a great team (the only thing I don't like about them is T.O.) but I think Carolina will be in the same catagory this year.

I think this year's team to watch out for is the Vikings; yes they did lose Randy Moss but Daunte Culpepper did have most passing yards last season although Moss was injured through most of it, and they have seriously beefed up their defence, with Fred Smoot and Napoleon Harris and Sharper
Watch the vikings
