Ozzy,

Oh yeah... forgot that part.  That was right before they managed to get the whale released back into the wild, wasn't it? ;)

And just before they stopped the polar ice caps from melting while achieving peace in the Middle East...

The most exciting bit is the pretzel in the Oval Office incident though, gripping as the president turns a sort of bluish purple colour and is saved by the young intern who headbutts him in the err stomach ;D ;D ;D

The observation that the average person who believes Hollywood's version of history is less intelligent than a cheese and pickle sandwich.....

I once got in a conversation with someone over the facts of a couple events. Turns out he "...wouldn't touch a book. Just wait until it comes out in a movie." ::)
Guess we need say no more -- little need to make a scene :P

That is a great movie. I just saw it the other night on TV. Really cool. :)

As for this new movie, I saw a trailer for it about 2 minutes ago. ::) It looked pretty good. I may go see it with a friend of mine. Another WWII buff. :P

Have you guys seen the ads? I am unimpressed.  ::) It just feels like another one of those thrown together WWII movies, like Windtalkers. All the characters seem way too dramatic, and way too American. They don't seem to display any real emotion, just wooden. Everything is just too black and white. Yeah, this is from those 1 minute commericals with the fancy muzaak.

I guess you come to expect that from WWII movies, you cant get the same kind of conflict you get from, say, a Vietnam movie (Platoon). WWII is great for films, just look at Saving Private Ryan (which I still can't believe lost the Oscar to Shakespeare in Love.  ??? :-X), but I don't particularly like the idea of doing a rescue movie.

Well, I guess we'll see when it comes out.
