as of now i have played 71 hours and 57 minutes of GTA, according to the stats screen

it doesn't compare to the thousands of hours i must have spent playing FS throughout the years, but i only had this game for like a month

I dont think there is anything wrong with playing a game like that as long as you fully understand that its just a game. being a responsible adult would help too.
