I was sat in my truck last night, I had'nt bothered to fetch my portable TV out of my car (keep it in there for security when I leave the truck in the yard....) thus, I was stuck with BBC radio 5.

At half time, I thought "Sod this! I'm having a smoke & off to bed" - I did'nt much fancy another 45 minutes of listening to defeat also, I hate listening to the "pundits" telling me how good / crap / indifferent the match had been.

Off to bed I went & slept soundly.

This morning, I could'nt believe my ears, or, my eyes when I saw the paper's!

Well done Liverpool.

...Wonderful Liverpool....well done! best match for yonks.........I hear that a certain Arsenal player who shall remain nameless (it rhymes with that black stuff we used to burn on our fires) said that he was "GUTTED" that Liverpool had won!
