I don't get the logic behind that.Most multi-engined types are capable of normal flight with one engine out. You might think differently if you were crossing the Atlantic. The more engines the better as far as I'm concerned.

I'm of the same opinion. If I was in an aircraft with an engine out I'd want that aircraft to be a B52.
Or a motor glider would be a nice choice...
Aside from the alarms going off, I doubt you would even notice losing one engine in a B-52.

Unless it fell off. In which case you'd probably lose two...
I'm afraid this is how it works now. More & more new housing is being built near airfields & at least some new residents will make complaints.
