Uh....yep. I was so excited though, I wouldn't have even noticed if my CFI (w/ a handheld on the ground) hadn't said: "ahem... window..."
 To my credit, I did at least wait until I was levelled off to secure it!

First flight was in a Baron when I was 5. First time flying the aircraft was in a Cessna 172 at 17. Most memorable except for my first solo was an aerobatic demo in a Mudry CAP 10 when I was 13. Still can't understand why the guy was so afraid I'd barf. Was having too much fun to even feel queasy.
