I understand the planitiff as well, but I by no means share her fear.  Whatever happened to "get a grip", "suck it up" or, [gasp] "call the cops". (Granted most the time they'll arrest you for being the victim. )

That's sick and it makes me so angry at the same time. Robbers, muggers, murderers, rapists and evil dictators get let off so lightly. there was a man in Britain who killed his wife with a knife in a suicide pact and survived himself after his slashed wists didn't kill him. He got nothing - Nothing! Now I know this isn't in Britain, but still te fact such injustice is in the world amongst western nations is terrible.
