Whatever you might think of him, one thing Harry Potter has done is to make reading books popular again, with people of all ages. Well done JK Rowling I say. You've worked a miracle & done something no teacher could do.
Amen to that.....I know my niece ( 8 ) and nephew ( 10 ) have read all the books to date at least twice. This has carried over into a general love of reading on both their parts. My wife is the most avid reader I've ever seen. She reads every night and has amassed a collection of novels to rival most libraries. LMAO, she even reads the TV Guide......
