19 for me, I have never deleted a PM either, though I suppose I should back them up in MS Word and clear it out..

I clean mine out every two Weeks, along with my out box.
The number is usually around 100 or so!  :o

All this deleting of old messages is turning the site a different color!  ;D

I guess when it turns blue again it is time to clean the PM folders.
