I'm interested in how much Norway's air regulations changed after 9-11. Some certainly; but not likely as much as many countries.

IIRC this is very similar to an incident a few years back on a FedEx 747; in which a suicidal deadheader attacked the crew with (I think) a pipe. Scary - but kudos to the pilots for keeping it together.

This case sounds like tht peugot 207 advert. Where everyone keeps damaging the peugot 207 (I think) cars, because of jealousy, maybe this guy took it too far, he went for the aircraft. :P

Without going into too much detail, commercial airliners still have fire axes, but they're not within reach of the passengers. ;)
