I've never seen Paul so at home on a subject...!! One would think he lived on his bike. :o
I suppose when your not on yr bike Foz yr dreaming on it, perhaps of the latest 1000cc Honda Fireblade... ::)!

Och well, even Prince Philip likes riding his bikes and he's in his mid 80s.... well I know he was riding the howlin exhaust blowin mad things until a couple of years ago anyway. ::)

Paul how many times have you fallen off and broken your body up? How many times....??!! C'mon tell the truth! :D

Ben ;)
P.s If the answer is too embarrasing you needn't tell us. :P

Hi Ben.... ;D...!

Accidents....Falling off....?

ONCE in 1954....!
When a daft old car driver, not looking where he was going, drove into my right leg, breaking it.
Got compensated... ;D...!
Touch wood...never had an accident, or fell off, since....long experience of biking pays off..you see the dangers long before they happen... ;).... 8)...!

Cheers Ben... ;D...!

Paul.

While we are into the subject of GOING VERY FAST....
a little bit of useful info...>>>

Our Galaxy is 100,000 light years in diameter.
The age of our Sun is 4.5 Billion years, equal to 20 Galactic years.
The Earth is 30,000 light years from the centre of our Galaxy.
The Earth travels at 135 miles per sec round the Galaxy and takes 225 million years to complete one orbit.
The speed of the Earth is 66,600 MPH* and travels 1.6 million miles in one day.

* I know this, because I checked it on my speedometer whilst pacing it.... 8)...!

....trust me... ;)...!

Interesting Paul, you should be heading for Silverstone with that good history. 8)

Interesting figures about the universe....
I enjoyed my Physics, amazing what rot is in there though about the age of the earth and the planets. You see they'll change all that - upgrade it to something thats older still.
They still haven't managed to prove how old the earth is or anything else... it is pure guesswork that they think fits their theory of how the earth began. As if anything could possible be produced out of an almightly explosion millions of Celcuius hot and cool down to form life anyway... ::)  I'd like to see the explosion thats 1 millionth the size of this Big Bang that can produce life, let alone this imaginery one. Anyway, science says to make something you need materials, even empty space is something, let alone hyrdrogen atoms. So either it was all there in the beginning or someone made it all.
Whops way off topic.. what i'm I thinking of. Just thoughts.

Ben :)

I dislike you using that language, but how do you explain that Foz? Anyway, this is most off topic.. I won't mention it anymore as its highly argumentitve too.

Excellent model... 8)...!
Did you notice the drain cover in the road, by the right handle-bar...?
Our Brit bikes are normally parked over them to allow the oil leaking from the crankcase to drain away.... :-[... ;D...!
When you get the bike will you be joining the "Elderly Gentleman's' Motorcycle Club".... ;).... ;D...!

Looking forward to seeing your new machine when you get it... :)...!
Shame the  Brooklands track is no longer there. It would look good on the track...goggles, cap on back-to-front, flies in the teeth, etc... 8)...
LOL...!

Cheers Carl... ;D...!

Paul.

P.S. sorry about the "Lambretta" typo. My spell checker completely ignored it....as you would expect... ;D...LOL...!

P.P.S. stick your photo back in your signature again. It's always nice to see a smiling face... 8)... ;D...!

Isn't the Internet amazing...?
You just type in "Honda RC51" and up it all comes as though by magic... 8)...!

http://www.vandjsuperbikes.com/RC51.htm

Over here they are called VTR 1000 SP1, and SP2.
1000cc Vee-twins.
(Similar arrangement to a Ducati)... ;)...!

One of my lads had one for a while, and sold it for the Honda CB1000.

The VTR was VERY thirst on petrol and very poor for pillion riders, (non-existing pillion seat).... :o...!
LOL...!

Cheers all... ;D...!
