There was a movie back made around the late 80's or early 90's, I don't remember the name but two best friends were playing one day when one of them decided to throw rocks at a hive. The result, he died and the other best friend weeped very regretfully.

Haven't those kiddies learned ???

You guys sound so old...   ::)  Weren't you ever kids?  I know my friends and I teased several bees nests as a child.  It's all part of growing up.  Get young!   ;)

Oh, and the movie is 'My Girl' with McCauley Culkin...

I for myself am a kid from town,so those outdoor activities were quite limited during my first eight years. ;)

So 40,000 bees had to pay the price because some kids had nothing better to do. >:( :P I bet that structural integrity story is a bunch a hooey so people like me wouldn't get their panties in a bundle. :P

Not a huge loss, but upsetting nonetheless. :-X

I have a hard time believing that the hive was threatning an apartment building structure. It's supposed to be able to stand a lot of weight. I bet a couple appliances would outweight it ::)
