Braille on drive through ATM's(cash machines)

I think the braille is there because banks didn't feel it was
necessary to make a whole new set of keys just for outside use.

Don't spoil it with logical explanations Steve. I'm always getting into trouble for that myself. ;D

The solar powered torch ;D

========================
Translation to American:

"The solar powered flashlight"

FJR

I have something like that in the garden except it charges during the day with the solar panel and turns on at night.

Pedal powered wheelchair
Underwater hairdryer
underwater tumble dryer
Reading for dummies
Reading for dummies, in braille
the warning on the bottom of the tesco dessert: do not turn upside down.
Low fat lard
black flares
mesh wellies

there are tons more, I don't think half of mine have been invented

How about a concrete canoe. (Think it's actually a kayak but they tell mie it floats.)

Actually, ferro concrete is actually a fairly popular material for boat construction. And why not, its strong, durable and actually quite light when compared to steel.

That might be so but I find the idea of a 'concrete canoe' highly amusing. It sounds funny for a start. For some inexplicable reason I start giggling hysterically whenever I think of it. :P ::) ;D

PS. Don't worry about it. I'm happy & too old to change my ways now. I know I'm way past salvation. ;D

Whom can we thank fo the Braille drive in ATM's?  Your friendly and helpful (US) federal government.
