Ha, what a loser! I wonder how long they listened to this guy before they arrested him?  :P

Brighton is a notorious well-known holiday resort on the south coast of England - about 10 miles due east of my home town as the crow flies. The town (now offically classified as a city) has been featured in many films including Quadrophenia. It's listed in the Domesday Book (1086) under its original name of Brighthelmstone.

There is an area known as Brighton Beach in New York City not to be confused with the original Brighton. This was also featured in a Neil Simon film of the same name.

PS. Nothing would surprise me about Brighton. A lot of weird people live there. I was born in Brighton General Hospital which might explain a lot. ::) :P ;D

Well, Brighton is only 1 hour away from London by train. Hmmm, maybe not now. It used to be before they messed around with the railways. ::)

I believe this is where the saying "dirty weekend" originated. Brighton cropped up in a lot of "nudge nudge, wink wink" jokes in the old days. The famous comedian Max Miller lived in Brighton.

It gets more so by the day. :o ;D

A lot of unemployed/homeless people from all parts head for Brighton to live there permanently. Sorry to be cynical but shopfronts down here tend to be warmer than in other parts of the country. ::)

Oh yes, especially considering theres the Welsh & Scotts to contend with..... As a trucker, I travel these weird Islands (And Ireland from time to time...) Yup, the British Isles are full of nutters.

The truckers are a bit off it also.....  ;)  ::)
